Danger Pony: Intro to the Anywhere Shirts Blog

I’ve done the blog with a past rendition of this business and it seemed like a feature worth the extra headache. The idea is to have all of YOU GUYS write some cool articles about your adventures, hobbies and expeditions and generally aid in building a ragtag little community around this thing that’s otherwise just a random internet tshirt company, albeit the best one : )

“Danger Pony” is me, the Ben some of you guys have met in person or possibly just seen making a fool out of himself on Caleb Hammer’s podcast. The name is my Insta handle and a sort of idealized Indiana Jones Batman alter-ego who’s slightly more glamorous that a nine-to-five condo maintenance guy with a backyard clothing operation.

So here’s my offer: Hit me up about something rad you’re doing in the near future, and I’ll send you two free shirts of your choice plus a 25% discount you can have for 6 months. In exchange, you give me a bunch of photos for the site featuring you and the shirts plus a five-paragraph article about what you did. Could be a backcountry ski trip, a hunting getaway, a mud-race, or even something regular like a jiu-jitsu class you do a few times a week; I’m open to ideas. You’ll even get to pick a cool nickname for all the articles you write me!

Additionally, I’ll be posting periodic updates on how the business is going. There’s no secrets and no corners cut; if and when this little machine becomes a big deal I’ll still be totally transparent about everything that’s going on behind the scenes. I’m basically the dictator making all the big-picture decisions here but my intention is for all of us to build Anywhere Shirts together.
